Whenever we start something new for the first time it’s natural to feel apprehensive, especially when it comes to trusting websites. There are so many stories out there about people who have been scammed by websites, that it’s hard to know which ones we can and cannot trust with our money. This precautionary nature is sensible, and will probably have already prevented you from making many mistakes in the past.
But it should never prevent you from trying something new.
All Purely Parchment Craft patterns are available as downloads because this gives the buyer several advantages:
1. You don’t have to wait for your pattern to arrive in the post, meaning you can get on with your parchment craft right away!
2. It’s MUCH cheaper as you don’t have to pay us for packaging and posting.
You will need a printer that can use both black and red ink as many of the pattern templates use black as the outline and red to show you how to emboss.
All parchment craft patterns consist of 4 A4 pages. 1 of which is a cover and does not necessarily need to be printed.
Downloading explained
In each pattern’s individual information on this website there are two types of buttons – Ones that say “download” and ones that say “add to cart”:
Postal Orders: The Add to cart buttons are linked directly to PAYPAL shopping cart and behave as the usual cart. You add your patterns, hit checkout, go to your paypal account and pay, then we send the items in the post. There is also a corresponding yellow ‘view cart’ button to see which patterns you already have in your cart, this will only show the posted items not the downloads.
Downloads: The Download buttons are linked to PAYLOADZ. A company owned by PAYPAL that allows you to download files. The method is the same as normal checkout accept this time after you have paid you will be taken to a web page from which you can download the file onto your computer. There is also a corresponding ‘view cart’ text beneath the button that will show you what you have in your cart, this will only show the downloads not the posted items.
You will see just how simple it is, and that there is nothing to be worried about. The patterns are all downloaded in EXACTLY the same way and in exactly the same format.
